We have been participating in Peter’s dance lessons for the past 14 weeks and it has been the most enjoyable experience. It is a great atmosphere and supportive instruction, which is very reassuring as a beginner. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience. As a beginner, I was made to feel extremely welcome. The tuition is excellent and I feel I have made great progress. I have found a new hobby in dancing and it is the highlight of my week. A great atmosphere at the classes and met lots of new people. A great laugh and every session is thoroughly enjoyable. I would highly recommend.

If you are hesitating about learning to dance, Peter Wilson and his team are exactly who you need. I started the 12-week beginners course with my wife and friends, and we initially arrived with a mix of anticipation and anxiety. Peter uses a brilliant "divide and conquer" strategy to teach the technical phase, separating the leads and follows to learn the footwork first. This completely strips away the pressure and allows you to focus purely on the physics of the movement before partnering up. He fiercely protects the beginners' space, creating an authentic environment that feels like a safe haven entirely free of judgment. He and Jane teach a fantastic mix of dances, from the Waltz and Cha Cha to the Quickstep and Social Jive. Peter has a great ability to read the room, and his own musical background really helps when breaking down the complex rhythms. He is also incredibly encouraging and knows exactly when to offer a compliment to validate your progress. We went from battling the "evil monster" of footwork to genuinely laughing our heads off on the dance floor. The classes have completely replaced our initial nerves with adrenaline and joy, and my wife now calls it her favourite hour of the week. I cannot recommend Peter and his team highly enough to anybody looking to finally step out and enjoy dancing!

I started the beginners class this January and I love the lessons. I was a nervous beginner with no dance experience but Peter makes the steps easy to learn and is supportive and encouraging if you need to go back over things. I see a lot of joy in the lessons, people learning how to dance and enjoying every moment. The highlight of my week and highly recommended to anyone wishing to try Ballroom or Latin dancing 💃🏻

Truly a grrreat place to learn your first dance steps or even progress to whatever stage you would like, with Peter & Jane you will be confident to dance in no time at all & you will be twirling around in the tower ballroom b4 you know it🕺💃

We started attending dance classes in Jan 24 and the minute we started these classes I was hooked. Peter and Jane are both so helpful and supportive and it is great to be able to have a laugh as we learn too. I could not recommend highly enough

Peter is an absolutely fantastic dance teacher. Peter and Jane are always patient and kind with everyone. It doesn't matter how well, or not, you dance they make you feel really good about yourself. I so look forward to my dance class each week.

When we started attending classes I had two left feet and no idea. Now thanks to the patient support and instruction from Peter and Jane I have the normal podiatry selection, can recognise different dance routines, have the confidence to stand up and take the floor, made some great friends, and danced at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. We have loved our dance journey with Wilson's Dance.

Wilson's Dance is a great school I've been dancing now for over 2 years and feel that I have made real progress. I've also met some lovely people and made new friends. Don't be afraid to go on your own if you haven't a dance partner, you'll be made to feel welcome and will always find someone will partner you. Peter is a fab teacher with oodles of patience and bags of infectious enthusiasm. Get your dance shoes on. What are you waiting for!?

Marvellous dance school! We have been attending weekly lessons for over a year and have managed to learn 8 different dances. It's a friendly group and you pay weekly, so no bother if you miss a week as there is always a catch up session. Peter and Jane, our teachers, are patient and kind and although you may feel overwhelmed at first, soon put you at your ease. The group is open to anyone whether you have danced before or not and all dances are broken down into easy to follow steps. Absolutely love our dance classes!

Peter and Jane at Wilson's Dancing are amazing teachers! Their friendly and kind nature, along with their flexibility to accommodate demand, make the dance class fantastic. My husband and I love attending the classes. We started as beginners in a 12-week beginner course, and now we enjoy it immensely. We keep coming back to the extended classes. Interestingly, Peter ensures no one falls behind and helps until he sees improvement in dancing skills. Every Tuesday, we have a wonderful hour of dancing after our hectic work as healthcare professionals. We thoroughly enjoy everything at Wilson's Dancing. Thanks again, Peter! I first joined Peter's class 3yrs ago for a 7 week course, learn to dance for Christmas. It was great fun learning the basics. and Peter is very patient and teaches at a relaxed pace. Barbara & Jane are exceptional too at helping out with the technique. I then carried on the beginners class the following year, and enjoy learning something new each week. Classes are relaxed & friendly. My partner joined the class last year too and has settled into the group & made great progress with the dance routines. I would definitely recommend Wilson's Dance classes.

Me & my partner first attended group dance lessons a few years ago to see how we would get on, as we wanted to do a proper dance for our first dance for our wedding, and then we also attended private lessons and we loved them, Peter is a great teacher which we learnt a lot from including the tango, waltz, jive, rumba, foxtrot. and even during covid, he remained professional and still kept in contact throughout the unpredictable time. When we was able to dance again we had our private dance lessons and recently had our weddings day and we did great with our first dance. It couldn’t of gone any better. We recommend you use Wilson’s dance UK as it’s a great place to learn and still have fun dancing together with your partner doing something together.

Chris and I have been dancing with Peter for a couple of years now. We always wanted to learn how to dance basic ballroom and Latin. Our dance group led by Peter is brilliant. We have such a great time together and everyone is very supportive of each other. Peters tuition is second to none. He is an exceptional teacher with the patience of a Saint. He carefully goes through dances step by step and ensures everyone is joining in and able to pick up the steps until a full routine is achieved. Peter is ablely assisted by Barbara and Jane who are always there to help and guide. We have gone through Covid and we have all stuck together. We are a great group with the best teachers you could ask for. Highly recommended. Dancing is great for the mind and body and we look forward to attending.

I’ve been dancing here for over four years and absolutely love it . Peter is very experienced and is an excellent teacher . He is incredibly patient and helpful if you find something difficult. The Latin and ballroom class offers many different dances to learn but my personal favourite is Argentine tango.

We've been dancing with Peter for the last 3 years. Peter's style and approach to teaching has enabled us to learn how to dance a varied amount of styles from foxtrot, cha cha cha, quickstep to our favourite, Argentine Tango... To name just a few! Always look forward to our lessons each week and learn something new each time. Great teacher, very supportive and patient and diverse in teaching both ladies and mens steps and styling. Would highly recommend for someone who hasn't danced before to more experienced dancers who want to improve or advance their capabilities!

As an absolute beginner to dance, I was a little apprehensive about stepping into a formal dance class, how wrong could I be. Peter welcomed me with warmth and professionalism . His style and approach to teaching dance , I my opinion , is just right. With the help of Jane , gives a very knowledgeable and enjoyable class.His enthusiasm for dance just flows. Well recommended 10 out of 10 !

Peter is a great dance teacher. Gets people new to dancing moving around the room in a few weeks – rhumba, waltz, quick step, foxtrot, in fact most ballroom and Latin – even Argentine Tango. Amazing dance class. Dance teachers are very patient, which helps when your like me. I have a disability which doesn’t allow my body to sometimes do what it should. So we repeating the steps it becomes easier. Also since dancing I have noticed a massive improvement in my mobility. Not to say the benefits it has on your mental health also. Would definitely recommend this dance group…..
